'Connections' brings together random portraits of the everyday, photographs of scenes so common in Romania, that they're fully ignored from the visual landscape.
Photography made me look closer while stopping time. Each individual image was taken in a different season or situation. Long after the exposures were made, while I was browsing through my collection of scanned negatives, some of the photos caught my attention. They appeared to share qualities and have a connection with other particular images. It was a new way of seeing my snapshots that I constantly do all the time.
Can you identify which are the layers that link together each group of photographs?
